Pull the teal magnetic beads into the upper outlet. Let the orange carrier particles pass. More pull isn’t always better: beads can stick to the wall before they reach the collector.

A useful sketch, not a validated solver. This dimensionless, overdamped model combines uniform flow with a smooth magnetic-attraction surrogate. Colors show attraction intensity, not measured flux. Wall contact traps a bead; the outlet is a geometric threshold. No fluid coupling, bead collisions, saturation, Brownian motion, or 3D effects. Changes restart the sample so different settings don’t mix.
